The game had a very big importance for second-ranked SlovenianHelios Suns as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Zlatibor) loss. Helios Suns edged 12th ranked Montenegrin Mornar in Domzale 72-69 . Helios Suns made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for Lenart Sirc (204-2003, agency: PEPI SPORT) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Jan Zemljic (192-2004) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Five Helios Suns players scored in double figures. Belgian-American guard Alston Mason (188-2002, college: Arizona St.) came up with 34 points (!!!) and forward Viktor Vujisic (200-2001) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Mornar in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Helios Suns . As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Siroki. Mornar lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth place with four games lost.
